Smoking Policy

Reel Fintastic Fishing Charters supports a healthy and safe environment.  There is NO smoking while on board our vessel.

Cancelation Policy

At Reel Fintastic Charters, we understand that plans can change. We strive to offer flexibility while ensuring our business operations run smoothly. Please review our cancellation policy before booking your fishing trip.

1. Cancellation by the Customer

  • More than 7 Days Notice: If you cancel your booking more than 7 days before your scheduled trip, you will receive a full refund of your deposit or payment.
  • Within 7 Days to 48 Hours Notice: Cancellations made within 7 days to 48 hours of the trip will receive a 50% refund of your deposit or payment.
  • Less than 48 Hours Notice: Cancellations made less than 48 hours before the trip will not receive a refund. In this case, you will forfeit your deposit or payment.

2. Cancellation Due to Weather or Safety Concerns

  • Your safety is our top priority. If the weather conditions are deemed unsafe for fishing by the captain, we will either:
    • Reschedule your trip to a mutually agreeable date (subject to availability).
    • Offer a full refund if rescheduling is not possible or desired by the customer.

3. Cancellation by the Captain

  • In rare cases where the captain needs to cancel the trip for reasons other than weather or safety, you will receive a full refund or have the option to reschedule.

4. Late Arrivals or No-Shows

  • Late Arrivals: If you arrive late for your trip, the charter will still end at the originally scheduled time. No refunds or discounts will be offered for missed time.
  • No-Shows: If you do not show up for your scheduled trip, you will forfeit your payment, and no refund will be issued.

5. Rescheduling Policy

  • You may reschedule your trip once without penalty if you provide at least 7 days’ notice. Rescheduling with less than 7 days’ notice may result in a forfeiture of your deposit.

Confirmation Notes

What to Bring

  • Sunscreen (non-spray preferred)
  • Hat and sunglasses
  • Light clothing and layers (Dress for the weather)
  • Snacks and beverages (No glass bottles)
  • Camera for capturing your catch
  • Cooler (to take your fish home)

What’s Provided

  • All necessary fishing gear (rods, reels, bait, tackle)
  • Drinking water
  • Fishing licenses
  • A knowledgeable and friendly crew

Important Information

  • Arrival Time: Please arrive at least 30 minutes prior to the scheduled departure to ensure a timely start and finalize any paperwork if needed.
  • Weather: Your safety is our top priority. In the event of bad weather, the captain will decide whether the trip will proceed or be rescheduled. We will notify you as soon as possible if any changes are necessary.
  • Cancellations: Please refer to our Cancellation Policy for details about refunds and rescheduling.

***Our normal departure is located at the Anclote Park’s boat dock.  The address is:

There should be plenty of parking. If we change the start location to accommodate your group or busy days, we will update you immediately.

 

***The departure location may change based on tides, weather, and fish population.  The captain will reach out to you within 48 hours if there is a change in this location.
